Manifold Valley

Manifold Valley Barn

In idyllic countryside crisscrossed with footpaths, at the head of the Manifold Valley Trail's 8 miles of traffic free cycling, this romantically styled contemporary barn conversion at the side of a ½ acre of land in the tiny hamlet of Hulme End.

There is a general store 100 yards away, a small visitor centre and seasonal café as well as a good dining pub within ¼ mile and further shops, cafés, pubs and famous cheese store in Hartington (2 miles). The Tissington Trail is 3 miles; Bakewell, Ashbourne, Buxton and Leek are under 15 miles.

"This is a cosy converted barn in a lovely little village, surrounded by quiet country roads. It is traditional looking from the outside with all modern conveniences inside. We went with our 2 children over half-term and it was a nice week away from London. We went pony trekking, walking over dales and did mountain climbing. We recommend "The Roaches" for climbing, Dovedale and the Manifold river trail for walking and climbing and Chatsworth House and gardens. The cottage is equipped thoughtfully with everything you need for a self catering holiday, we wish we could have stayed longer - plus the owners were really friendly, welcoming and helpful. "
